The objective of this article is to address the drawing "The Five Skins" in conjunction with other theoretical approaches to the city, to reflect on the framework of postulates with which Hundertwasser created his work and which were a guide for his lifestyle. Through his theory, the article emphasizes anthropological issues such as the personalization of the environment and the construction of identity through inhabited space, opposing the commodification of cities and the loss of meaning in "deterritorialized" spaces. This anthropological vision highlights the need for an active relationship with the environment that allows individuals to reconfigure their identities and the meaning of their lives in urban space.
