Open-access Inclusive education to people with disabilities through digital didactic resources

Abstract

Education for diversity represents a form to plan, teach, and learn in a different manner, change the mentality of the teachers and the community. “Inclusive education” implies tolerance, respect, and solidarity (UNESCO, 1990). The article presents a retelling of experience surrounding the design of a digital didactic material for the systemization of the Psychopedagogic Report of People with Disabilities, as part of the Psychoped-agogic Attention Program of the Facultad de Estudios Superiores Aragón developed in the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. In this work, virtual transdisciplinary learning communities were built, with the purpose of pushing an active participation between teachers and social service lenders. The employed methodology was based on investigation-action, which allowed the realization of a reflexive inquiry through social actors in the timeframe of the pandemic caused by the SARS-COV2 virus / COVID-19, counting with 7 university students, 3 teachers, and 7 people with disabilities. The obtained results showed that, through interactive digital resources located on a cloud, a systemization of report design was achieved, which includes diagnostic, program, plan of action, performed activities, didactic material and evaluation. Each one of them contains the applied tests, as well as actions and resources utilized to follow up on the progress of the learning process of the person with disability.
